OFF!!!

What a great honor to meet with renowned French flutist Frédéric Coll, an expert in the area of flute orchestra music and a member of the world-renowned OFF ( French Flute Orchestra) . Maestro Coll made a very special visit to the Hong Kong Flute Centre this afternoon and we spent some very good two hours chatting about music for flute orchestra and developments of flute ensembles in France and Hong Kong! Have learnt so much from him.

New ideas are in the process of developing into concrete plans and actions to bring flute orchestras from both places for exchanges and collaborations. Stay tuned and we will make announcement shortly! Get your flute ready.

At the end of the day, we shared a new arrangement for flute orchestra of Leslie Cheung’s “My Dearest” and maestro has made a satisfactory and convincing decision of becoming an owner of the fabulous Burkart’s piccolo!

See you maestro soon again in Hong Kong and of course Paris during my next visit! I look forward to our flute orchestras the opportunities to play together in the very near future! 😍😊🥂
