親愛的家長及學員， 
歡迎遊覽 純樂管弦中心的網頁， 本中心為一所集高水平音樂教學、表演及音樂教育顧問的機構， 除為各學員設立多元化音樂課程之外，亦同時提供一條龍的音樂教學顧問服務，為家長及學員提供支援及解決各類音樂教育方面的問題及需要。

純樂『大家庭』的音樂文化 –純樂著重『大家庭』的概念。這個『大家庭』由一眾師生及行政人員共同建立，彼此建基於對音樂的興趣及對器樂演奏的熱誠而參與純樂的教學、排練及演出活動。

純樂推崇以啟發性及鼓勵性的教學方法，讓學員於學習器樂技巧之同時， 亦能夠真正地感受及分享到『與眾共樂』所帶來的歡愉及成果。此外 ， 透過樂團訓練，並與導師合作參與公開演出， 過程除令學員之合奏技巧得以提升外，亦能讓學員體會到音樂造詣上 的相互包容，欣賞及尊重的重要性。而以上種種的音樂體驗，將最 終讓學員感受到無限的滿足感及建立起更強固的自信心。

課程及教學方針 — 純樂之教學方針以加拿大音樂教育理念為依歸， 並參照英屬哥倫比亞大學音樂學院之教學模式及要求而推行。純樂 所舉辦之各項音樂課程，除能符合及滿足學員對英國皇家音樂學院 及聖三一音樂學院各級器樂及樂理考試之要求外，亦同時能充分發揮 出北美洲音樂教育概念的精髓及優勢, 讓學員可以更全面性地學習音 樂領域上的各類知識及享受純音美樂。

主要課程– 純樂定期開辦之一系列多元化音樂訓練課程主要分為（一）樂器（二）理論及音樂認知及（三）樂團及小組室樂。　學員可自由揀選個別課程或修讀純樂參照英屬哥倫比亞大學音樂學院課程結構而 設計出的兩年至六年全科課程。

國際聯繫 — 純樂管弦中心自2002年起成為世界排名首四十大著名學府之一，位於加拿大溫哥華之英屬哥倫比亞大學 (U.B.C.)音樂及英語學院之香港分院， 為學員提供高質素及水平之暑期音樂訓練機會。純樂亦同時與U.B.C.音樂學院保持定期及緊密之聯繫，務求在教學理念、方法及形式方面，能夠相互了解配合，並能實踐於 純樂日常之教學用途方面，使學員能獲得最大裨益。 與此同時，多個本地 及國際性音樂 、教育及文化機構/音樂家等亦與純樂開展「伙伴關係」， 使純樂能從相互間之合作機會中，促 進音樂發展及教育文化的交流。 這些機構及音樂家包 括有香港長笛中心、香港中文大學心理學系、 加拿大皇后大學音樂學院 、美國國家長笛協會、亞爾拔書院 、長笛家羅伯特‧艾爾健、威廉‧班納、瑪莉‧卡倫‧ 格拉迪、伊曼紐‧巴浩、小號家馬田‧巴倫邦、夏威夷大 學管樂總監 格蘭特‧奧加梅拿及 溫哥華歌劇管弦樂團單簧管首席堅‧林司堡甘、維也納愛樂樂團單簧管首席彼德 ‧史密哥等

I would like to welcome you to PURE Orchestral Music Centre. We comprise a group of professional musicians, staff, students and parents who are all passionate about music making as an essential community-based activity and we are extending this invitation to you to join our family on this exciting journey going forward in 2020 - 2021.

Students here enjoy a suite of top class mentoring, performance opportunities and experienced music consultation based on more than a decade of close collaborations with local and international big names. Our mentors are hand-selected for their practical competency, well-rounded musical knowledge and professionalism.

If you are striving for successful musical rankings from the ABRSM or Trinity syllabus, this is the place for you. If you want to create your own musical journey by enriching your theoretical knowledge, this is the place for you. If you want to learn to work as a team with other like-minded peers and collaborate on your desired musical project, this is the place for you.

Students here are supported through their studies with a well - rounded curriculum based on the University of British Columbia School of Music that involves discerning the role of music making holistically, from the fundamentals of ear training, rhythmic awareness to instrumental proficiency, sight reading and improvisational techniques, allowing sounds to be what it is, just sounds.

We aim to impart on all of our students the fun and rewarding musical processes whilst assisting their musical milestones in graded exams. I look forward to seeing you.
